Springwell Golden Voices

Springwell Golden Voices is a community choir, for older people, based in west-central Edinburgh, for all who enjoy singing. There’s no audition and if you don’t read music you’re still welcome!
We especially need more gentlemen who sing Bass to augment our current
four strong Bass section but we have a waiting list for Sopranos & Altos. (* See below for latest information about joining)

We are now rehearsing at Craiglockhart Parish Church which is on Craiglockhart Avenue.  Click for a link to a map
There is plenty of on street parking and the 4 and 36 buses pass the church.
We rehearse on Thursdays from 10:30 till 12:30  with a break at which we will provide tea or coffee and a biscuit.
If you’d like more information – whether you’re looking for a friendly choir to join, or you’d like to book us for a concert, we’d love to hear from you.

Christmas Concert
We will be performing our annual Christmas Concert concert in Craiglockhart Parish Church on Thursday 12th December at 1:30pm. Due to safety and accommodation restrictions the audience will be limited to 150 and entry will be by ticket only.  Tickets will be available in early November from Choir members.  Tickets are free but there will be opportunities to give a donation towards Choir funds.

Our Musical Director is Dr. Caroline Cradock and our Accompanist is Mr Douglas Kerr.
See Menu item above for details of Caroline Cradock.

*  New Members
We currently have over 70 members but would welcome anyone who wishes to join particularly if you are a bass or a tenor but we will add any Sopranos or Altos to a waiting list and let you know when a place becomes available.
Click the Contact button above to send an email with your details and we will give you further information.
At present the Annual fee for Members is £120 which covers all music and your interval tea/coffee + biscuit. We prefer fees to be paid by 12 monthly instalments of £10 and where possible by Standing Order.
